The official notification for RRB JE recruitment 2019 has been released by the Railway Recruitment Board on 26th December 2018. The application for RRB JE recruitment 2019 will start from 2nd January 2019 and will continue till the last date which is 31st January 2019. RRB JE 2019: Exam Pattern (03/2018):
- Exam Type – Online Test/ Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Objective Type
- Number of Questions: 100 Questions in Stage I and Stage II – 150 Questions.
- Each Question Carry Equal Marks: 01 Mark for each right answer.
- Negative Marking: Yes, Negative Marking 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.

- It is an objective type of examination.
- Time duration allotted to attempt the examination will be 02 hours.
- 1/3 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the candidates for each wrong answer as the penalty.

Indian constitution, some famous books and their authors, awards and honors, Indian History and world history, culture, Geography, sports and some special games, important days, general politics, economics and some famous scheme in economics, science & technologies, abbreviations, important financial & Economic news, Rail budget, new technologies & reform in Indian railway, Current affairs, general awareness on Railway etc.
Stage I & II Both: General Science:
Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences based upto 10th Standard of CBSE Syllabus.
